Resveratrol and it's association with Cognitive Health

Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in red wine. Research studies have shown that used as a dietary supplement , the group using the resveratrol had a greater retention on words after 30 min. The resveratrol supplementation resulted in hippocampal functional connectivity ( a region in memory function) a decrease in HgbA1c ( a marker for Diabetes) body fat, and an increase in leptin.
